What is EPTE® Inertial Concept?
The way EPTE® Inertial Concept works is based on its flywheel, in the way the user interacts with the device, in the system response and in the energies generated depending on eccentric or concentric phase, that set the user work power, depending on the time.
The subject using the device is the one who activates the flywheel, being the energy of the subject equal to the rotational energy stored in the flywheel.
The subject must resist and counteract to the rotational energy stored in the flywheel.

The double output pulley gives you complete freedom to make movements, optimizing a three-dimensional training. It is mounted on a extensible bar that allows you to work at different heights. It also has an additional extender, for exercises that require a greater height (between 0 to 2 m).
The interchangeable flywheels (of different weights and diameters) are positioned at the height of the professional; this makes easier to obtain the right inertia to the needs of the exercise. This versatility in the configuration of load levels can cover the maximum range of force-speed (power).
You can also add a multiplier to increase the power and get a more demanding practice on the exercise.
EPTE® Inertial Concept advantages
EPTE® Inertial Concept enhance the eccentric phase of the exercise. As described in several studies (Tous 2005, Caruso 2005 ), in the concentric phase a muscle damage is produces and this facilitates the adaptation of muscle to the movement or gesture that it has to perform, thereby preventing possible injuries.
The design of EPTE Inertial Concept guarantees smooth and progressive return on the eccentric phase of the exercise, by a movement of forces, avoiding bumping or pulling that could cause small injuries, as the power that the subject has to exert is already enough to make the effort required in each case. This means that the device can be used by everyone, from a professional athlete to an amateur, of any age and physical condition.
The device double pulley can work freely and therefore imitate gestures from sports to everyday tasks, involving a lot of muscle chains, both in the upper and the lower part of the body.
